This is the ideal destination for the adventurous tourist. Here visitors will experience nature in is ultimate form. Large expanses of exuberant nature and wildlife, mostly untouched by humans, lay beside amazing portions of light Blue Ocean. It takes approximately six hours to get here, if you drive along the International Highway. The best vehicle is a four-wheel drive, since many of the roads are not paved. Air travel is also possible, and planes arrive at the Golfito National Airport.
